Museum + Heritage Show at Earls Court

As part of its investment in a marketing and brand awareness programme, Merac are pleased to announce that it shall be participating in the forthcoming Museum + Heritage Show at Earls Court, London on 16th and 17th May 2012.

One of the foremost events in the UK exhibition calendar for those working in the visitor attraction marketplace, it is anticipated that 1,800+ key decision makers will be attending with 150 suppliers exhibiting.

There will also be over 50 hours of free seminars on ‘hot button’ subjects taking place over the two days.

It also provides an opportunity to come along and see recent developments in the ticketing and booking systems provided by Merac and to discuss your specific requirements.

Further information on the Show can be found on its website

If you would like to attend as a guest of Merac then please contact Paul Thomas and we would be delighted to receive you at the event.

Merac continue to innovate ..... robust roving scanners can now be used to control access to rides, allow operators to validate tickets and check customer card balances in real time.

Other new developments for this season include 'live cards' and 'live wristbands' linked to our gate access control systems.

Customers can purchase a card or wristband, top it up with cash and spend it on individual rides, providing flexibility for the customer and vital ride statistics for the operator.

Leading visitor attractions continue to choose Merac as their preferred supplier, and we are pleased that many more visitor attractions are currently talking to us about their plans for the 2012/13 season.

Longleat is one of the UKs best loved visitor attractions and has been delighting visitors for over 50 years Visitors to Longleat can choose from a multitude of attractions spread over more than 900 acres.

Merac MStore overcame many challenges including the logistics and sheer scale of the park and migration from a legacy system.

Merac MStore was chosen for our ability to accomodate the huge number of ticket options and provide integration with existing financial systems..

Attracting over 3.5 million visitors per year - Fantasy Island -in Skegness was Britain 's first themed indoor family resort and amusement park and offers a great mix of family attractions and white knuckle rides.

The key requirement for the new system was to maximise ride throughput and to analyse the financial performance of each ride

Merac MStore was chosen over other internationally acclaimed systems based on the overall sophistication of the system and our experience with wristbands and access control.

A warm welcome to some of our other new customers -

Escot House in Devon was looking to increase visitor numbers and needed better control of the annual membership and advance bookings.

West Dean College in West Sussex needed a system that could manage admissions, retail and hospitality and cope with their regular large outdoor events staged up to 5 times per year

Brean Leisure Park in Somerset required faster visitor throughput and in particular faster credit card transactions.

Athelhampton House in Dorest upgraded their system to handle admissions, retail and bar sales

Merac unattended kiosks reduce queues and offer customers more flexibility to purchase tickets and top up 'live' payment cards without the overhead of manned tills.

Merac touch screen Kiosk Systems play an important roel in hospitals by assisting the surgeons and consultants in gathering important outcome information after operations and subsequent outpatient follow up visits.

Touch screen Kiosk Systems can also be used as an alternative to the Till based marketing questionaires within MStore to help gather customer satisfaction information for marketing purposes.
