1. Unexpected error when logging into Merac back office

If you get the below error and the PC / Till is running Windows 7 it means the version of Windows 7 requires Windows updates. 

To resolve:

If the till was originally provided by Merac / K3 the Windows updater service may have been disabled, this will need to be re-enabled and once started try again. 

If you get stuck at this point: 

Please contact support as we have a workaround. 

Alternately contact your IT support who will be able to resolve this for you. 

Once Windows 7 is up to date (It will require multiple restarts) please try again.
