Instructions On Installing Gift Aid Manager To Send To Customers

Below are instructions on installing the Gift Aid Manager for customers. You may need to re-add the Gift Aid Manager link for customers to be able to access. Speak to Harry Willatts if you need to the files, and cannot get it via the link in the instructions. 

To install the Merac Gift Aid Manager, please follow the below instructions: 

  • Download Merac Gift Aid Manager from this OneDrive link (This is only valid for three days so please save this somewhere if you need to install on other PC’s):  
  • https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/yhsf3sx3880ciyjj84vld/h?rlkey=pou7miqj264bwa3ecu1185ux5&dl=0 
  • Extract this folder and run setup.exe. 
  • Navigate to “C:\Program Files (x86)\Merac\Gift Aid” folder. 
  • Rename MeracGiftAid.exe to “MeracGiftAidOLD.exe” within this folder. 
  • Return back to the Merac Gift Aid Manager folder downloaded and copy “MeracGiftAid.exe”. 
  • Paste this MeracGiftAid.exe to the “C:\Program Files (x86)\Merac\Gift Aid” folder. 

You should then be able to access the Gift Aid Manager through the Merac Back Office in Setup if you have the permissions set for your user. Any further issues, let me know.
