Why Does Transactions Opening And Closing Dates For Cash Drawers Change To 2359 The Day Before

If you are opening and/or closing cash drawers or performing transactions between the hours of 00:00 and 03:59, and you notice the time and date gets changed to 23:59 to the night prior in the Tills screen, this functionality allows the cash drawer to stay on the day it was opened on.

So all the cashing up figures are accounted for that day and cash drawers do not span over two days, that may be harder to separate if the tills are trading every day.
