Do tills need to be finalised before it can be reused

Q) - Question about the tills, at the end of the day they read and cash up and close the drawer, there is an internal conflict where some believe that a till must be finalised before it is reused on a different day. Others believe that as long as it is closed it can be reused?

A) - Drawers do not need to be finalised but do need to be closed to be reused.
