Online payment received late - Booking status not updated

Merac expects a payment response to be received back from the payment provider within an hour window. 

The reason for this is down to online availability. This can be extended by request however this will then have a knock on effect on any session / ticket availability as the system will not clear down the reserved bookings after an hour. 

While the system is waiting on a payment response any bookings created will be placed into a 'reserved' status. 

After an hour the system will then automatically mark the booking as 'Cancelled'. 

If a payment is received after this point the booking will NOT be updated automatically and will require the booking status to be updated manually. 

 

Troubleshooting:

Once a payment request has been sent to the payment provider Merac no longer have any control over the transaction. The system will wait for a payment response. If there are any problems encountered payment provider end this will need to be taken up with your payment provider. 

Most payment providers have an online portal to track payments, this will also show any pending payments.
